Our Services

  • Beginning students work through a series of method books and etudes. Once a foundational understanding has developed students move into beginning and then intermediate classical repertoire.

  • Advanced piano students study classical repertoire, etudes, and attend festivals and competitions each year. Students at this level practice a minimum of one hour per day.

  • Composition students learn how to write and record music, either by hand or electronically. Music theory is a large foundation for composition.

  • Music theory is the fundamental building block of studying music. Theory can be added on to any lesson. Music theory is defined as “a practice musicians use to understand and communicate the language of music.”

Performance

Performance is a large part of what we do at Front Creative Outpost. Each student participates in two performances in a year. This opportunity gives students the ability to showcase what they have worked on and unlock their potential to use music to connect others. Performing also builds a sense of accomplishment along with necessary communication skills.
